These terms are an agreement between you and Himanshu Daga (operating Rasoi Kitchens) (“Rasoi Kitchens”, “Rasoi”, “we”) for use of the Rasoi Kitchens app and this website. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, please do not use Rasoi.

Private beta

• Rasoi Kitchens is in a private beta for invited testers. Beta builds are distributed through Google Play testing and Apple TestFlight, and their terms also apply.
• The beta is unfinished software. Features, recipes and allowances may change, break or be reset, and the beta may end at any time. Please keep your own copy of anything important (Settings has an export).
• Beta builds do not sell anything. If paid features are switched on later, you will see the price in the store before you pay anything.
• Feedback you send us may be used to improve Rasoi without any obligation to you. Please do not share beta builds or invite links with people we have not invited.

1. What Rasoi Kitchens is

Rasoi suggests vegetarian meals for your household, keeps a pantry and a weekly plan, builds shopping lists, and includes a chat assistant. It is a cooking aid. It is not a nutritionist, a doctor, or a food safety authority.

2. Allergies and dietary needs: read this one

Rasoi takes vegetarian and vegan correctness seriously: ingredients are classified, recipe flags are computed rather than typed in, the database refuses non-vegetarian rows, and filters for your diet, allergens and avoidances run before anything is suggested.

Even so, we cannot know what is in the food in your kitchen. Brands change recipes, products are cross-contaminated in factories, loose ingredients are mislabelled, and a dish you cook is assembled by you. If anyone in your household has a serious allergy or a medical condition, check the label on every product you actually use and follow your doctor's advice over anything an app tells you. Do not rely on Rasoi as the only safeguard against an allergen.

3. Your account

• You must be 18 (proposed default) to hold an account, and the details you give us must be accurate.
• Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• If you add household members, you are confirming you may share their dietary details with us for this purpose. Add first names only.
• You can delete your account from the app at any time (Settings › Your data), or follow these steps if you no longer have the app.

4. Free use, ads and Rasoi Plus

• The daily loop (suggestions, your kitchen's patterns, the weekly plan, the pantry, lists and history) is free, and after your first week the free version shows a limited number of our own promotional cards. These are capped per day and never appear while you are following a recipe's steps. They come from us, not from an ad network.
• The chat assistant and recipe changes have a daily allowance on the free tier because each use costs us money to run. The current allowances are shown in the app and may be adjusted; we will not reduce them without saying so in the app.
• Rasoi Plus removes the ads and lifts those allowances. It is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store or Google Play at the price they show you.
• Payment, renewal, refunds and cancellation are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. Cancel from your App Store or Google Play account settings; we cannot cancel or refund a store subscription for you. Access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends, as the store will tell you at purchase.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Scrape, bulk-download or resell Rasoi's recipes or other content.
• Attack, overload or probe our systems, or try to get at other people's data.
• Use the chat assistant to produce unlawful, abusive or deliberately harmful content.
• Post content to any shared or community feature that you do not have the right to share.
• Try to work around the free-tier allowances or the ad policy.

We may suspend an account that does these things.

6. Content

Rasoi's recipes are written in-house and are our copyright; you may cook them, print them and share them with your household, but not republish them as your own or as a dataset. Content you create (notes, modifications, logged meals, anything you post to a community feature) stays yours. By posting it to a shared feature you let us display it within Rasoi for that purpose. You can delete it.

7. The assistant's output

Replies are produced automatically by Rasoi's own in-house assistant, which suggests dishes from our tested recipe collection and does not write new recipes. They are checked against our vegetarian rules before you see them, but they can still be wrong, odd, or badly judged. Use your own cooking sense: check quantities, times and temperatures before trusting them, and never serve something you are unsure about.

8. Availability and changes

We will try to keep Rasoi running and improving, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change or be withdrawn. If we withdraw something you paid for, you may cancel and the store's refund rules apply.

9. Liability

Rasoi is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (proposed default). Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Consumer rights you have under the law of your country are unaffected.

10. Ending this agreement

You may stop using Rasoi and delete your account whenever you like. We may close an account that breaches these terms, or stop offering the service with reasonable notice.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India (proposed default), and disputes go to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka (proposed default), except where your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
